The Patriot

I'm working on my presentation for session 1 -- Advanced Blogging for Teachers -- and the TV is on in the background. One of the British Soldiers keeps catching my eye and it finally hits me that he's Lucius Malfoy. Just as wicked, but with dark hair. I'm sure it's the dark hair that kept me from placing him -- well and he didn't have my undivided attention. His accent is also a bit different I think, but again, there's that pesky "I haven't been watching completely" thing.

Yeah, Jason Issacs in "The Patriot"(2000) is probably one of the movies he's best known for other than Harry Potter, of course. He's antagonist and British officer Col. Tavington in the movie, which is set during the Revolutionary War.

He's supposedly really evil and sadistic in the movie- maybe that's Issac's speciality- the sneering English killer, as one review puts it. (Typical Mel Gibson movie bad guy).
Never seen the movie myself, but I've heard of it and of course everything is on imbd.
The blond hair really is trademark Malfoy, eh?)

I must say that I 'love' Lucius' long white hair. always immaculate and dare I say it - I love the 'bad boy sneer' of an educated man.... (it is rare to find the two in the same person)

The movie tis good, slightly entertaining and great movie for the chicks that wanna curl up into there lover. *insert romantic sigh here* but tis a blood shed movie and lotsa fighting. haha
