Just delete today's discussion and put this thread back to bed.
It's a part of history and it's not bothering anyone.

The 187 posts are not important -- everyone in this discussion has over 300, so that wouldn't make a difference. I don't worry about anyone with more than 200.

And the content isn't all that earth-shaking. They did here what people now do in the chat room.

Still, I wouldn't want to start clearing out threads just because they're boring unless we have a good reason.

Which reminds me, I never got an answer to that question -- Are the old threads being pushed out to make room for the new? To me, everything hinges on this question. Should we see this thread as history (good), harmless (neutral), or spam (bad)?

If the answer to my question is "yes," and we put this thread back to bed, then it will get pushed out anyway. No need to do anything at all, either way.

It does have bits of Harry Potter here and there, if that's important.
It also rambles on about popcorn.
