Ekin- Fair points and possibilites, but it doesn't solve the overall inconsistencies of the Trace.

I agree that the trace sas major flaws and the whole problem with a trace is its just never properly explained.

JK explains in a book, by Hermione or Ron, how does the trace works, and remember that in OoP they went to get Harry because he was already warned by the Ministry and so they take him to the safe house of the OoP.

well its pretty obvious there are holes in that part of the plot. i think jk never fully understood the rules of the trace herself. its poorly explained
