Have you grown to care for the book at all?

I wanna join!! I loved the book (it is after all Harry Potter, how could I not!), but I feel that there was definitely something missing at the end of it. Something that was very important for the fans.

*raises hand & jumps up & down* ooh! ooh! pick me! pick me!

I liked the last book because it was Harry Potter but as I read it, it felt like so much was missing from it.

all i missed was just some sort of a death list..want to know who were "those other 50 peaple, givin their lives" to distroy voldy.

You know, it took me a few moments to realize exactly what that quote originally was. And I have to say I'm a little shocked you would actually use THAT line, considering. But I guess it is somehow appropriate.

DH is, in the end, still an HP book. Of course I care for it. But not nearly as much as I should. Not nearly as much as I had expected. ("Now you tell me you have been raising him (Remus. Severus. Fred. Dobby.) like a pig for slaughter-")

Thanks to everyone for joining. Feel free to use this thread to debate, or what not. Or just talk. Originally this club was just going to be for people who talked too much. (Talkative Teddy and Mouthy McD, XP) But this is much more interesting.

Just to be clear: Everyone here is a Harry Potter Fan. It is impossible for any of us to actually HATE the book. We found it lacking.
