I will be on HPC less, but if anyone is bored and wants to discuss:

Instances where wand-ownership transfers would have effected the whole battle scene / Elder Wand allegiance idea.

The one that comes immediately to mind is the fact that right after Dumbledore's death Harry and Severus duel- and Severus makes Harry lose his wand- disarms him, in other words. So how does this work? Does that mean Harry's wand should have allegieance to Severus? What does that mean for later on, since Harry hasn't yet overpowered Draco and thus supposedly gain control over the Elder Wand.

And finally, while it is technically possible, it doesn't seem likely that Draco wasn't disarmed/overpowered/beaten in a duel ONCE except by Harry in the entire time after the endof HBP. Any of the senior DE could have easily confiscated his wand for whatever reason and Voldemort could have punished him... heck, he could have gotten into a scuffle with one of his peers and been disarmed.

wow, when i was readin DH i kinda started to get a mind of what was going on when he was askin olviander all those questions, but then i put it out of my mind until the end. Then when Harry is saying all that stuff to vldy i was like I still have no idea whats goin on! The battle even could have been a lot better I mean all that build up and such a wuick ending.

it was sirius she traded for mr. weasley because he was the only true father in the whole series.

She did trade Sirius for Mr. Weasley in OotP.
And then Mr. Weasley was spared again in DH, and it was Remus and Tonks who got traded to death in that book. >_>
