In comparison, I think my typos are relatively few and inbetween.
No, I was just teasing Sprout there, her typos I don't care about.
It's the Ravenclaws who go around declaring their superiority based on their supposed intelligence, their typos I'm keeping track of.

LOL That's the best thing about being a 'Puff. We don't run the risk of declaring our superiority on anyone. We just are.

LOL I have noticed that - but I also have a feeling that the average of their age is around 11.5 years old!

And? That's not truly an excuse, because I am MUCH closer to them in age than they are to you or Sprout or mcD. (Er... at least I think so and fervently wish I am right so as not to majorly offend anyone.)

Yes, you are closer to their age, but not so much in many ways. An average 5th grader who has navigated through this series is reading above grade level, but perhaps is not spelling or speaking grammatically above grade level.

Please, Lord, let this not mean Teddy is in 5th grade. I will commit Hari Kari. There are child labor laws, no?

No, no I will attend 10th grade in the fall. But still, many, many of the people who post similarily to a 5th grader (No offence to any 5th graders out there, but you get the idea) are definitely beyond 5th grade.

But 11 years old is 6th grade anyway, right?

Not if you are paying attention! Having just spent some time catching up, I think I got lost in the shuffle somewhere. I have been a Hufflepuff since joining this site and know I have thirty plus years on that average! LOL

Smart? I think I am reasonably so. Brave? Attack my kids (sons, daughter, or students) and see how brave I can be! Hard-working, loyal, .... I like to think those are the BEST qualities to have--especially when backing up your friends.

Being smart can only take you so far....and having those qualities does not limit your house. Hermione was loyal (HP), smart (Ravenclaw), and brave (Gryf). Don't you think she had ambition as well? Look at how much she read and how hard she competed to be one of the best.....

I believe the Sorting Hat also considers your heart. I would hope that each one of us could learn from that. Being Slytherin does not make you evil. Snape is not the only one with promise....what of Remus's brother who was Slytherin and yet found a way to fight back even unto death? "Judge not..." keep an open heart.

A.
