Yes I've never been much of a Gryffindore fan myself.Actually I've never really liked the main characters in any given story.I confess,I don't like Harry that much,it does not mean that I don't like him.I don't know,it's like a lot of people go for the main character or say he's their favorite but it's only just because he is the main character(even if other characters are far more interesting and complex than the main one).This came from way back in 1991,(I'm thinkin' a lot of you probably weren't even born yet,man I'm old)I followed Michael Jeffrey Jordan's carrer since the mid 80's and I would go on and on of how good he was but everybody would say that he was not that great.They would say that Magic Johnson was better or Isiah Thomas(I also love both these players) because they were the world champs(Detroit Pistons 89'-90',L.A. Lakers 87'-88')So the whole world was all over them.Then the Bulls go and win the championship in 91' and now all of a sudden everybody is tellin' me "have you seen Michael Jordan play,man he is the best,he is my favorite player ever and my hero".So now my childhood hero was everybody's hero because now the spotlight was on him.So I realize it's the same with other things,a lot of people are gonna say Herry is their favorite not because they like him but because he is the main character so they automatically put it in their brain thet Harry is the best character.So usually I stay away from main characters(I don't like to be a sheep),I study them all and see "who is" the most interesting character to me,not necesarilly the best,just my favorite.

You have a great sense of jugement ,SiriusBlack, your reasoning seems right to me. Even if i love Harry, i agree that he is not the best character. All the characters are pretty good.

Thank you.And yes I was a big fan of Basketball.But I think Im a little old so I got to see diferent players from the ones you probably like.I was a big fan of Michael Jordan,Larry "Legend" Bird,Earving "Magic" Johnson,Isiah Thomas lord III,"Sir" Charles Barkley,Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,Karl "The Mailman" Malone,Clyde "The Glyde" Drexler,John Stockton,Scottie Pippen,Dennis "Worm" Rodman(back with the Pistons before the earrings,tattos and eveything),Chris Mullin,Tim Hardaway,Moses Malone,Dominique Wilkins and a lot of late 80's early 90's players.When these guys retired,so did I as a fan.I was always in the school Basketball team since grade school to high school,but I stoped loving Bball.I'ts been like six or seven years since I've even held a Basketball(I don't think I could even dribble like I did before,Isiah was one of my favorites as far as how he dribbled the ball,so I would spend hours and hours trying to copy every move I would see him make).Ahhhhhhh................nothing like a good old flashback,oi back to the present,I havve no idea who is on wht team or what teams are in what city anymore(and I now have black hair down to my waist,tattos and play guitar in a "Heavy Metal" band,go figure).Anyway,do you like Basketball?
