Ta yep. I found asbestos on the builders rubble tip (I worked there through my first degree). The name seemed approriate because of where I found her and because she was p0articularly obnoxious when I first owned her. tore EVERYTHINg up (including a friends lounge suite and brand new pair of Doc Martins!! and all the seat belts in my car) and would roll in every pile of poo and dead anilmals she could find. She's 14 now and has mellowed into the best dog. See fenrirbound, there are concessions to getting older. you don't have to roll in every pile of poo you see anymore! @m@nd@: Bernice is OK but I prefer Animangas too

fenrirbound: Lots and Lots of very out load laughs! I kinda meant the "don't HAVE to roll in EVERY pile of poo you come across" to be slightly more philosophical than I wrote it (funny how that happens when you're on the net). I reckon that when I was in my teens and 20s, I seemed to get into EVERY awful relationship and situation?! (Maybe it was that just me) I love getting older. Anyone who meet me now would think I'm totally discerning and together- got them fooled!! See what I mean?? I don't roll in EVERY pile 'o poo that comes my way anymore!! Just like Asbestos!! (fenrirbound's gone travelling the world for a minute. So I post this to him in his honour)

buffy fenrir:the way you guys talk is as though your my age young naiive and always rebellin well...............maybe not the rebeling but i do and its fun watchin my parents freak out. i love my dog this morning when i got up i was all groogy and stuff and went into the toilet and she followed me i was brushing my teeth she was sitting there watching me i ate and she ate with me(she oly eats from my hand)and when i was reading for school she was right there she is soooooo adorable.does anyone feel the same about their dog cuse i know i can't do with out her.

Wow all this talk about dog's the best dog in he world(ME) is not in on it, ok let me ad my 2 cents, first I did not like dog, but then i got one for my self and I love them. I spent $550 on my wife miniature dachshund, his AKC registered name is Potter James Jordan, and he has a sis well not really a sister more like a cousin she cost me $750, but she is mine, Her name is Lilly(after Harry's mom) Then I have two Cats one is named Gryffindor and the other is Dobby, So I am so obsessed with HP but that I named my animals after them all. They are the most spoiled creatures I have ever met. But they bring so much joy it not even funny. When I have had a bad day and I come home they so glad to see me every time, My dog Lilly has to lick my face for like 10 min before she calms down. lol they sleep in our bed, which I know is bad but my wife and I don’t mind at all they are good warning system to anything that rumbles in the bushes that should not be there.

potter dog:yeah i kow what you mean i hated dogs from first but when i got my one i can't with out her.and she is as spoile as ever.and very greedy. but right now she is sick so i have to take to the vet.but i think she needs worm medicine.yeah you're pretty obssesed aren't you.............don't worry i am also i went as far as to call my stuffed animals hp names.my lion of course is gryffindor and my dolls are lily herms (not hermione) yes i still have my dolls but i don't play with them.i just can't let go of them.but anyway i hate cats i had one named buffy the insect slayer.but we found out she was male and named her/him buff.but she/he died a long time ago.

Pets! Pets! Glorious Pets!!! can you believe the amount o' lovin' that these lil fellas give us!!?? We had to put our cat down the other week and it was very traumatic. I'd had her for almost fifteen years!! My dog, I've had for 14 years. That's longer than I've had my kid! It's so strange to think that not only are these animals part of your family, but they're part of your own identity. Do you know what I mean!? Like, not only can I not imagine my home or my life without them, but I can't imagine ME without them- I wouldn't be quite 'me' without my woofer-dog, Asbestos. @m@nd@: A cat called 'Buffy the Insect Slayer'!! I like it!-suprisingly enough. I WAY prefer 'Herms' to 'Hermione' -which is THE most awful name ever! I like your taste PDog: i'm glad you're happy with your pooches but , can I just make a general recommendation for people to get their animals from the RSPCA/abandoned animals (rather than necessarily having to pay big bucks). I found both my cat and dog on the rubbish tip and all my mates get their animals from the RSPCA refuge. You couldn't ask for better pets!! They might be a bit psychits at first but when they learn to trust and love again... it's worth it! They are the best pets! They even come house trained... most of the time

I got back home to have my vet tell me I had to seriously shave my dog. She has an ecxema and some major dreds starting. The best way to deal with it is to shave her naked and work on her skin. She loves me and trusts me, so it wasn't as horrible as it could've been. Still pretty bad, what with the clippers humming and the that look in her eyes of 'you expect me to out in public looking like THIS! She'll get over it and come to love the summer in the meanwhile.
