Voldemorts wand???

Don't know hun maybe people are too closed minded to think of the possibilities and actually think about things. who knows what theories do you have??

This wrong because sirius was there before hagrid it says in the first chapter of the first book.

OK, so wormtail had to have known when voldemort would go to the Potters' because voldy probably went right when wormtail spilled the secret, so for all we know wormtail was prowling around the property that night keeping watch and could easily have gotten the wand and escaped before Sirius even got there. (wooh)
ok THEN...dumbldore had to have known right when the Secret Keeper Spell broke cuz he was the one who sealed it or whatever. So he alerted hagrid and sent him to go get harry immediately (before the ministry could even get word that this whole shindig went down). Meanwhile, sirius shows up and gives hagrid the motor bike (dont really have any good theories as to how sirius knew though, maybe james sent out a patronus to the order or sumthin. i dont know if he'd have time though)...so yeah

Sirius was at the house before Hagrid Got there Therefore Wormtail got there after Hagrid as I don't think that if sirius had have known that Wormtail was there and just stood there arguing with Hagrid as to who should take Harry. This can only lead me to believe that Wormtail tried to get into the house while this was going on and either Hagrid or Sirius saw him. This outraged Sirius that a "so-called" friend could betray the Potters and Their son then come back to do Voldemorts' bidding (maybe to collect the wand) as Sirius already knew that he wasn't going to get anywhere with Hagrid he reluctantly handed over his bike and started after Wormatail knowing what he'd done and who he was in league with this being the only logical solution to Wormtails betrayal. Hagrid in the meantime was so content to carry out "professor Dumbledor Sirs' " orders did not put this conclusion together however did notify Dumbledor of Wormtails Appearence and of Sirius aswell. Dumbledor being a good guesser had already pieced this together this is why he had sent Hagrid to collect Harry Knowing that his parents will have died to protect him and therefore creating a magical bond. Dumbledors knowledge of Voldemort while being limited was wide enough to know that he could not feel give or sense love therefore Voldemort knew he would fail also having heard Trelawneys Prophecy. In conclusion Dumbledor had "guessed" from his knowledge and the prophecy also upon feeling the charm break he would know who Wormtail was in league with therefore ensured that Harry be brought to safety immediately even if it is with the Dursleys!!!!

First off there was nothing in SS that puts Peter at the Potters before, during, or after the attack. According to the book the muggles got there just after Hagrid left with Harry. If the house was in disarray, there would be no way that the muggle officials would have know even what to look for. A wand, even Voldamorts, would have looked like part of the rubble. However, if Peter had went back to the house as a rat he would be able to see things others would have missed. Nobody even knew that Peter was alive but Serius.

true. peter could have come a bit later to get the wand, but he still would have needed to do it fast because im sure the ministry would get word of the disturbance pretty fast. maybe sirius saw him (rat or human) after hagrid left with harry. (was sirius arrested for "killing" peter that same night? if not then sirius must of just tracked him down later). but wait, the muggles did come immediately and that would fit with the story that muggles were the witnesses to sirius attacking peter.

wow, so first of all hagrid did not see wormtail that night and tell dumbledore or dumbledore would have figured out the whole mystery right then. dumbledore believed that sirius murdered peter (and betrayed the potters). he was surprised when everything came out in PoA.

i think that wormtail is the one who took it,that is why in the fourth book when volemort is back,he uses his own wand...wormtail might have retrieve it after voldemort dissapeared coz he'd have concider it beneficial for him to have voldemort's wand in his possesion...

It makes sense, but I suppose it'll always be a mystery......
