I wish book 7 had harry talking to Snape after Snapes death and what he saw in the pe

I wish there was a chapter where mabey Harry spoke with Snapes potrait at Hogwarts (he was a former headmaster )and thanked him for the HUGE sacrafices Snape made on his behalf.and then went back years later to tell Snape his second born(and the child w/Lilys eyes )would carry the name severus!that would be sooo awesome

Yea, that would be really great. It says alot about what Harry thinks about Snape after naming one of his kids after him. I bet Harry would go and thank him and have Severus meet Snape.

im not sure..... i dont think snape would have liked that... i mena.. he was an ok hero but he lacked emphaty...sometimes...i just mean i cant see snape talking emotional with harry...

I don't know...Snape always had Harrys well being in mind. I think the biggest reason he didn't like Harry was he looked so much like his father. And Snape really didn't like James. And when Harry seemed, to Snape, to be acting just like his father, not his mother, all he saw was James. Except when he looked Harry in the eye, then he saw Lily. His intentions were to save all that he had left of Lily, and that was in Harry. Seeing one of Harrys children named after him, I think, would give Snape a little of Lily that was never his. To connect them in a way. And I think Snape would have gaditude for that, maybe not show it but feel it.

I don't know that that would be a good thing, I mean, I think Snape would be kind of spiteful because he didn't do those things for Harry, he did them for Lily, and if Harry said thanks then he might be weird about it...

I still think that Snape would secretly feel honored by the jesture. He did what he did for Harry because of he was Lilys son, so it would be like Lily was thanking Snape. And Snape might see that Harrys son being name after him and Dumbledore would be a higher honor. We know that Snape thought highly of Dumbledore.

I think that would of been a great idea as well, it would of made things really interesting with Snape and Harry, and what would of been really interesting that he told Snape about his 2nd born son, he would probably b shocked and wondering why did he do that??

To have Harry talk to Snape's portrait, while it is nice in thought wouldn't really fit into the story considering Snape didn't really ever care about Harry he cared about Harry's mother, which is what Hermione-is-the-best said so I agree with her.

well...snape wasn't really a very demostrative person regarding his feelings..so i don't think he would have answer or show what he felt so it would have been a weird situation......although i think what harry did was a very nice gesture...
