Celebrity News - J.K. Rowling Hints at Possible New Harry Potter Book
“There have been times since finishing, weak moments, when I've said: 'Yeah, all right' to the eighth novel,” Rowling is quoted as saying to Time magazine. She placed third in the mag’s annual Person of the Year list.
"If, and it's a big if, I ever write an eighth book about the (wizarding) world, I doubt that Harry would be the central character,” Rowling continued. I feel I've already told his story. But these are big ifs. Let's give it 10 years.”

Rowling isn’t letting her keyboard sit there idle. She is currently working on two new books, one that she refers to as a “political fairy tale” and the other a mystery written for an adult audience.
