hello, my name is raine and im new to ant kind of chat. ive always wanted to talk to others about hp. i am 58 yrs old. i am retired from the post office after 35 yrs. i started reading hp in 2001 and ive been hooked ever since. i like cool jazz and different kinds of music. i am not good at computers at all, so i hope someone sees my intro.

There are a few of us oldies here....but no matter ! Everyone here is suitably obsessed with all things Potter.

Good for you ! Trying new things like chat sites and computers

Keep coming by everyday or so and you will start to get the hang of the people around here.

A couple of important things to remeber ....

1. You can't post everywhere until you have 20 posts (replies) so keep 'mailing' I mean ...posting
2. The abbreveated language is a blast ...words like ...ppl / Lol / ROFLMAO ....hahahaha ....you just get used to it...you'll pick it up
3. There are games to play in Muggle World ....
4. And as soon as you can .... say HI ....in the little chat box near the top of the page ....someone will answer you as nearly EVERYONE loves to talk around here.
5. FanFicton ...Is a forum for story writers
6. RPG ~ stands for Role Playing Game ... everyone writes a bit to a story .... OH and
7. Only discuss book 7 in The Room of Requirement (after 20 posts) just in case some haven't read it and we don't want to spoil it for them.

Hahahahaaha ...I wanted to be helpful , but i think I may have scared you off with all these dot points !

hey raine, u'll learn all about computers with time.. we all started out this way. i started reading harry potter in 2001 too. i remember my brother was practically forcing me 2 read it and when i started i just couldn't stop. i guess he regretted ever giving me the book

dear lena, thank you and all the others for replying to my intro. like i said , im not to good with computers and i had trouble navagating this website. also we had computer trouble. motherboad and all. as for the po it was awful. i would have stayed another year,but it was getting so really bad. i just couldnt do it any more. but how are you? what dp you like? hobbies? i have read book number 7 at least 20 times. although book number 6 is my favorite. i sure hop i hit the right buttons,so that you get this reply.
