abt parseltongue

I'm sure it's all over and that Harry can no longer speak parseltongue.
I think Dumbledore might have said something about it in King's Cross.

How does one forget a language though?

If Ron was able to re-produce the sounds to open the pathway down to the basilisks lair... perhaps Harry retained some knowledge.

but earliar, in book 2, Harry said he didn't knew he was talking other language...how come, if everybody else did?
and could harry at the end make diffrents

Harry - as a kid - didn't know which language he was speaking in - because they were both so natural to him.

eg. sometimes i think in Finnish, sometimes I think in English.
Sometimes when I speak - I know the 'thought' that I want to communicate but sometimes say the words in a different language.

I can see how - if Harry had never been taught parseltongue - Harry may have 'thought' that he was doing everything perfectly normal.

I think after the horcrux within Harry was died - Harry did have a few years to 'understand' WHEN to speak parseltongue, and WHEN to speak english.

I think it is entirely possible for him to still have some remaining parseltongue ability.

I didn't think he'd be able to. Then I read an interview saying he can't.

My first reaction was a flat "NO." Now I'm rethinking.

I just re-read King's Cross and the last conversation with Dumbledore's portrait, and it says nothing about parseltongue. Oh, well.

It's magic. For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, no explanation will suffice.

This argument turned me around, to the point where I can now hear others.

That's where I'm going.

Again, a casual reference to an interview, but no link or clue. (sigh.)

But even if she said it straight out, with no ambiguity, we can still question and ponder.
She probably didn't think it through as much as we are doing right now.
We are all pretty clear that Harry would no longer have the magical ability.
But what about a limited, non-magical, learned ability? Rod DID manage it.

i think harry doesnt have got the magical power anumore, but still will be able to remember soem, but after time passes by, u begin toforgot things...and i think harry wont mind forgot parsel tongue...what does he need it for? and its an disgusting thought, being able to talk with snakes.
