(I seem to be resorting to the easily mockable list form frighteningly often recently.)

1) o_0 It's POSSIBLE to read DH and just stop before the epilogue???
2) It's not an "old" thing- these chat are for really serious, at least slightly addicted HP fans. That's what I like about so many people here on HPC- that they really understand and share that love of HP; and it's not silly to take these things seriously.
3) SPROUT! It's great to see you again, up and TIRADE-ing, roflmao. Your point about TIRADE is really important, because a lot of things got slightly out of hand and context. T.I.RA.D.E. was first and foremost meant to be in good humor, and though it quickly developed to include less than favorable opinions on DH, which was recieved quite well, it was orginially created as a joke about talking too much. I mean, it was mcD and I- McTeddy Talkers, but mcD said I couldn't name a club after myself, roflmao. XD The only reason it seriously solidified into something taking a stance against certain aspects DH was because it was a good acronym. (You see, "Very Chatty People" had no vowels....)
4) One T.I.R.A.D.E.R doesn't neccessarily represent all the views of the club. Psyduck is completely freaked out by Snape/Lily, I'm completely fine with it. Same for the DA. Gingo will enthusiastically nominate Severus for Sainthood, I'm sure many of the DA -elmoro especially- couldn't agree less.
5) I will take a good part of the blame (but I won't say it was completely my fault- one piece of flint hardly starts a blaze) for some the stuff that ended up crossing the line or really not making sense. It's not in my nature to apologize, however, and I can't say I didn't enjoy a lot of it. But I will admit I wasn't always right (not neccesarily about DH - I still think I was mostly right there.:P). And I hope we can continue the more edgier bantering and still stay friends. We can disagree, heck, we don't even have to agree to disagree, that's no fun, but we should keep in mind that there is still an element of light-heartedness to all of this.
So, general disclaimer for my posts: Warning: Sarcasm, snarkiness, tongue-in-cheek when in bantering mode, tongue lashing if you seriously manage to annoy me THAT MUCH. But usually I'll refrain and keep silent.

What did Dumbledore say on the tower about being old... It might happen to you someday, if you are very lucky.
