Snape good or bad?
I believe that Snape did his wrong in the beginning, but learned from his mistakes. He chose to let Voldemort in and be on his side, but he allowed his love Lily to be killed by him. This information he regretted for the rest of his life and it was love in the end that saved Snape because he chose to be brave and fight for the cause that mattered the most.... The innocent that deserve a greater ending than death by the hands of Voldemort.

I always hated Snape because Harry did. I am glad that it turned out the way it did. Harry got to see that he was wrong about Snape and that Dumbledore was right. And so did we the readers.

I also hated Snape for his attitude towards Harry just from the beginning. What did Harry do to him? <I pity Harry, still in his first innocent year then he was being bullied by that hooked-nose teacher.> lol.

Anyway, while the whole world is waiting for the 7th book and i am rereading the previous six books and the rumors about "Snape is he really bad or not?" is circulating, i had a conclusion before that he wouldn't be bad. And there's something behind his attitude. Talk about intuition. lol.

I think Snape is basically good ...but having never known LOVE (returned to him) terribly under realized in his potential as a great wizard and man.

I think Snape is good. Yeah, he made his mistakes, but he learned from them.

I really liked his important part in the last book, where he told Harry to look at him, because Snape just wanted to see Lily's eyes one last time...

i think snape kind of went back and forth between good and bad, i'm undecided.
