Just introducing myself - I am an adult who started reading these a few years ago (I think the first 3 were already out). Was teaching Sunday School and wanted to know what my kids were talking about. Was surprised - the characters are so well developed and the plots quite complex - you really do get drawn into the stories. Have been avoiding online news, etc for a while to avoid any accidental hearing about the ending of the series until after I read the last book. Now that I have, I'm looking forward to seeing what other people think . . .

Welcome! I am a student who heard about the book from my teachers in class. lol
I really loved the Deathly Hallows, but I felt that there could have been more at the end about the people who lived, like George and the other Weasleys.

Another adult here. I started reading after my ex-mother-in-law bought them for my daughter - she still hasn't read them but I'm hooked!
