Default True_Believer

Hello my name is True_Believer a.k.a TB, My favorite Potter book by far is the 7th installment. I have been reading Harry Potter books since 4th grade and haven't stoped. I'm not really fond of the movies because they tend to leave stuff out, I know the books are long but come on some stuff should not be forgotten. The best character is Snape I don't know why but I consider him the most complexed character in the story and hard to crack. I finished the 7th book in 9hrs...and has spontaious geekgasmims all the way through it.

Welcome true believer.

I like Snape too. And I agree that movies are rarely as satisfying as books. And it is always frustrating when you have been immersed in a book to witness all the alterations and abbreviations in movies.

Hello True_Believer.
I too am a Snape fan. I agree with you completely on the movies. Then again, I find that I am a bit of a purist, so all the stuff that gets left out really grates on my nerves.

When I was reading the 7th book, I was too distracted to acurately (I believe I may have spelled that wrong, my spelling is horrible) time myself, though I am sure it took under 10 hours. That's including the time I spent pacing after certain scenes before I couldn't resist reading more.

Yay for geekiness. Well, at least for HP.

I thought that Snape was bad the first time I read book 6 but the second time I read through the series i changed my mind. I just KNEW that he was on the right side. I loved the back ground info that was given on him in book 7

I've liked Snape because he's such a perfectly wicked teacher. He says the stuff no one else will. "Do you enjoy being an insufferable little know-it-all?"

As a Slyffinclaw, it would be a disgrace not to be a fan of Severus Snape. I've been a Snape fan since before the 5th book, about halfway through my HP obsession I changed my mind on Snape from neutral to HUGE amounts of respect for him. (He IS my head of house.)

Book 7 has simply confirmed what I've known about him all along.
