Let's Talk Movie 5...

hello, Im new here and i just want to talk about the movie, i saw it today and i thought it was actually not that bad.. just wanted to hear what you have to say

hi, my name's h.potter and I agree with you on the movie. There were parts where it didn't follow the book, but i really liked it too. I thought the death eaters masks made them look pretty cool (as creepy as they were :} ) but thumbs up for me on the movie too. )

Hi. I liked how the ministry of magic looked. Also, the fight scene between Voldemort and Dumbledore was pretty intense. I liked it.

That was a very good part of the movie. It reminded me of something else that's not coming to me. Maybe it will later. mmmm

While I love the DA, and I admit that it is a very good movieverse plotline, I thought that OoTP spend too much time in the movie on it, even if it didn't seem like a lot. So much more happened in the book. They ended up sacrificing so much backstory for the new characters and the Order itself. I really got the impression that anyone who hadn't read the book would have been completely lost on a lot of important things.

One of the biggest disappointments for me was the twins scene, when they were leaving, which was okay, but I really imagined something so much more chaotic and Gred-and-Forge-ish.

I didn't see the ministry the way they had it in the movie, but I loved the glass shards all rising up and ripping Fudge's poster to shreds.

I agree that if someone has not read the books they can't realy get what is going on. I think that i love the books so much that i was unable to truly enjoy the movie

I had a hard time enjoying the movie too. I thought it was ok, but it when it devated or left parts out, i didn't like it. I saw the movie with my mom, who also read the book, and driving home from the theather all we talked about after the movie was how different it was from the book and what was left out.

I didn't like how they totaly left out Mr. Weasly at the Hospital. I would have liked to seen how they did St. M(something i can't remember) in the movie.
