Hello everyone, im 14 year old girl from Canada and a Harry Potter fan. I really got into HP when the 1st movie came out and ever since ive watched the movies and read the books tons of times. Bye for now.

Hi,

Actually, I was just about your age when I got into Harry Potter for the first time. I had a friend loan me the first book, and then I had to read the second book, of course. But, I couldn't drive, so I walked the five-and-a-half miles to the best bookstore on the planet (that I know of) and bought the second book, the next day the third and from then on, I was hooked.

How did you get into HP?

I was asking how did they first find Harry Potter? Did a friend turn them on to it? An internet search? Library search? Completely accidental? That kind of thing.

I think it's interesting to find out how people are first introduced to a new thing; most of the time it's nothing special, but sometimes you get a really good story out of it.

So...how did you first get into Harry Potter?

Nothing special.
My sister's kids read it when the first book came out
and recommended it to my kids.
My youngest wasn't old enough to read it herself,
so we read it together.
They liked it enough, but they've since moved on with their lives.
And I'm stuck.

Eh, my story isn't all that much better. I once found a person who found the fourth book on a bus seat and started working backwards. Kinda fun that way.
