I would have to agree that the movies are pretty good. I like being able to visualize the characters while I read the books and the movies really help. But i don't think any of us would be really satisfied until they made movies that followed the book completely even if that means sitting in the theater for hours.

Hi Hermione, I agree with your views and if the truth be known I'd love to sit through a 3 hour + ( Gone with the Wind Epic) of any HP movie especially Deathly Hallows. This will be our last instalment of the series .... I hope they don't cut ANYTHING. I adored The philosopher's stone .... particularly now as I look back and see how young they were and how marvellous the sets were.....the detail, for what they broached was magical.

I agree, the details are magical. The only scenes I consistently do not like in the movies are the quidditch scenes. They always go on and on and are so violent for a game. Why don't the referees catch those bad old slytherins being so awful? Easier to read about than see.

I liked the Quidditch, but some of the stuff was a little overdone I thought.

And no Cup! Gah.
