Stuffed Up

i rekon the movies just be scene for scene from the books.

Nobody has replied to this post for ages...so I guess I will. Yeah, the movie was kinda messed up. But what bothered me the most, was that I felt like I was watching the book on fast forward.

The only way to not be disappointed by the movie is to see the movie first and read the book second. Prisoner of Azkaban was my least favorite movie because they used the Irish Leprecan to play Dumbledore. I don't think he's much taller than Hermione. Moreover, I'm not sure that he could scare Dudley Dursley much less Voldemort. This is not good. We have major wizard wars coming up here. The new Dumbledore is just not intimidating enough.

Then there's the Time Turner (groan). I've never liked "dream sequences" or "time reverse sequences" in any movie. They're strictly cornball and a cheap way to bulk up the footage using the same scenery, actors and costumes. Let us pray that this never happens again.

Yeah, your probably right, Zonko. only I feel bad for my sister. Since she saw the movies before she read the books. She imagines all the characters to look the way they do in the movie. Talk about lousy luck!

I know what you mean, I was very strong on some one who tried to tell me they were huge HP fans and they only had seen the movies, I was like their is no way you are not a huge fan if you have not read the books, You can not get a full enough understanding with out them, I was talking to my sis and she just started to read book one and she calls me up asking me to explain peeves and other things ALLL DAY, it confused her to work backwards. sh was like WOW why did they not put that in the movie ect ect, I can only imagine what it will be like for book 3 <_<

once again i thought the movie was wonderful and i did get mad at some parts of the movie (when siruis tryed to kill peter) was cut out of the movie and some other things i got excitied about the dementors and wanted to see how scary the would be....i was very disappointed

iy looks like th e4th movie wont be much better i mean the dursleys arnt in it molly weasley isnt in it and the movie starts at the world cup i wanted to see dudley eat the tounge-ton toffee

ya that would of been funny but oh well as long as they don't cut out any of the important things then i will be happy
