While I don't like D@ as I did Richard Harris, I don’t think he will have a problem being scary, that what special effects are for, but I what do not like about him is he does not have a calm and cool demeanor that Dumbledore is suppose to have. PS leprechauns are cool, but mostly annoying

Wow all I have to say is at least your not ragging on harry like these people in another chat were. Yes the new dumbledor is too forcfull and not as calming as he should be but look at it this way, they could have just stopped making the films (thank god they didn't).

I was in tears. There we go. After the I saw the first movie, I was literally bawling. But w/e Gah... the fourth one looks dumb... I'm sorry, but come on!!! Get a HAIR CUT!!!!! How come Mrs. Weasely is always telling Bill to get one, but she can't tell Harry or Ron to? And the Dombledore wannabe... oh gosh, don't get me started on that one... Why the flip does he tie his beard like that? And dood, wuts with the new setting? You know what I think? The director of the third movie was dilusional and thought that the whole campus (only there for a lack of better words) could magically move, and couldn't comprehend the fact that we already have a Hogwarts (first and second movie... just look there! There's no real thinking involved!!!). Dood, ya can't just change an entire school! How the flip would the map work if the school kept changing? And the dementors... gah... the dementors... they FLOAT or GLIDE not fly. And where the flip was Cho and Cedric? Do they just magically appear? *sigh* But Tom Felton was Hott... like... sizzling... *cough* anyways... I think that the people need to think it through a little before they screw up an entire movie/book. Alright, done ranting now...

yeah Hagrids hut, whomping willow, the fat lady were in all different places. And the fat lady is even different. And I will agree that dumbledore needs to not be so dang hippish and quit putting the pony-tails in his beard!

I love Dawn French (Fat Lady)! She's one of my fav. comedians. That's one of the bits that made me go "Ok, The movies' have lost so much of the books but here's an eg. of the movies doing something even BETTER than the books!!". What's wrong with the Demeantors??They were exactly the way I imagined them. Petigrew was great! As much as I love Gary Oldman, I thought his Sirius was kinda weak. I really liked the changes they made to Hogwarts. The bridge was a nice touch and I REALLy liked Hagrid's looking less like a model and more ... organic...?? Fitted WAY better. I loved the huge pendulums of the clock even though I'm not as clever as others 'cause I didn't pick the time symbolism - I thought it looked good!! I like Dumb 2. I actually thought Richard Harris was was too serious. Could you imagine Dicky Boy conducting the Weasley twins in their derge version of 'Hoggy Hoggy Hogwarts'???! Naaaa Dumb2's got that twinkle in his pincez that I like! The films are rubbish compared to the books. I resent that the trio get ALL the lines and that ALL the humour is taken away (primarily Gred and Forge and Peeves), and the 'action scenes' (like the BORING flying car bit,) are exaggerated. The films are all about the trio and their situation. The depth of characterssssssssssss! and plot is condensed from a hearty, full bodied stew to a thin vapour. But, we'll all go and see them and laugh at the jokes and have a great time because it's all part of the Harry experience. Then we'll go home and read the books yet again and shake our heads in disappointment. There's one thing that occurs in the films that is just UNEXCEPTABLE and that is Ron's hair cut (or lack there of) in the 4th!!!!! YUCKO!!!! THAT is THE most unflattering, hediously AWFUL 'style'!!!! Forget Bill, Molly help Ron please!!! If anyone knows Rupert, first please offer my condolences about his name :P and secondly BEG him: "Get a bloody haircut!!"
