I think that would be a GREAT (but mean) April Fools Joke? Can you imagine all the characters and actors switched up? Say... Ralph Finnes playing Draco, Daniel Radcliffe playing Neville, Emma Watson playing McGonagall... the fun would never end. (Tom Felton as Dumbldore?)

Can you imagine a parody version at the beginning of HBP? With Ginny's actress as Bellatrix and Trelawney's as Narcissa? And, of course, Lucius' as Wormtail. Before there is a big message that says: "Just kidding you, on to the real thing." I think I would be mad and shocked- but that I would also be laughing my head off afterwards.

i would definitely be all for parody movies for all of them if at all possible AND i would totally buy all of them on DVD for myself & all my Potter-head friends simply for laughs

I don't like some of the meaner parodies, but ones with the actualy actors in them? Definitely a must see. (And I really, really don't like it if they make fun of a death of a character I liked, unless its just playful teasing.)

More along the lines of James and Sirius commenting on everything from beyond the Veil- "'My death was better!' 'No, you didn't even have a wand!' 'Yeah, and all you did was trip though a bloody piece of fabric!' 'It was the Veil of Death, and I did NOT trip, I was duelling Bellatrix!' "Hey look- Moony's in LOVE!' 'What? That's my cousin!'"

It is not so difficult to include such a scene ib HBP: A Party at the Slug-Club.
But Slughorn has mixed up the things a little bit (or anyone else) So they drink Polyjuice Potion instead of whatever.

I know you are talking about an intramovie parody, but I think there is a website with French and Saunders paroding HP. I'm sure Dawn is Harry. I'll have to see if I can find that.

I'm usually not a big parody fan, but some things just make me crack up against my own will.
(Can't believe you guys dug this topic up, I don't remember how we spiralled off topic-it was proably me, actually,- but it was a one way trip.)
