not until you mentioned it. I want to see it one more time before I go back to school, though. I'm hoping to pick up a few more things.

Hahaa.
I missed her changing her nose. I guess I'll have to watch it again sometime.

I'm with Hermione. I enjoyed the movie. I am not a great HP scholar and it had been quite a while since I read the book, so I didn't have a bunch of favorite details in mind. Maybe that helps, if your expectations are not built up. But I've been very pleased overall with all of the movies.

they skipped the whole St Mungo's thing, so we lost -- how they got in (another integration of magic in the muggle world), Lockhart and Neville's parents and them trying the stitches and the plant that ate what's his name. Lot's of good stuff.

I would have liked to see Neville's parents and Lockheart in St. Mungos. But I can understand why the filmmakers left those parts out--they weren't essential.
I think that as long as you go into the movie with the understanding that it's not going to be exactly like the book you'll enjoy it.

My boss, who hasn't read any of the books, though this movie was wonderful. And I agree with her.

I agree, mostly, I just feel some parts, like the Quiddich/Ron is king, although not essential to the plot, were essential to the book as the comic relief - I love the chuckles that JK delivers book after book, no matter how dark the story.

I LOVED it in this last book when Harry woke up on his birthday and was flapping his wand this way and that - messing up his shoelaces and hitting himself in the eye - then Ron suggesting he do his fly without magic - I do hope the screen writer puts those funny, just take a moment to do scenes!
