Hear, Hear!! Good gracious. Some people just cannot be pleased that a movie about their favorite books is coming out. Yes, many details have been left out and the I wonder sometimes how the plot can continue - BUT on the whole - good cinema. Right? Well - not half bad cinema.

It's a lame, shallow, sloppy kiddie movie. Created by people who don't love the books and don't get it.

Pretty harsh criticism, but coming from a place I know well. I love the books and I don't think they do the books justice. But that aside, are the movies worse than no movies at all? Or movies done 10-20 years from now?
