She still has a much bigger loyalty to him than I suspect most of the death eaters do. I mean, most of them got out of going to Azkaban by pretending they had been Imperiused, but she would not renounce Voldemort. I guess she didn't go insane in Azkaban was because she knew she was sticking to her guns and that wasn't a happy thought so it couldn't be taken from her.

I can't help but think of her remark about if she had sons she would be happy to give them up to Voldemort's work... but then that's evidence that she has not had kids. A mother would think very differently as is evidenced by Narcissa.

Even if Belatrix did have kids... I think shes so devoted to him she probably would volunteer to give them to his work... because she thinks what hes doing is the right thing...

No, Voldemort and his Death Eaters think they're right ...Hitler thought he was right, too...

She didn't go insane in Azkaban because she was already there. She is simply a lunatic and always was. Her thoughts are self-contradictory, twisted and confused.

She's too dangerous for pity, and too crazy for a sensible person to understand or predict with any confidence.

Ohh Mione. Perception as realization only goes so far. There is no perception that can righteously justify the extermination of millions of people. There is inherent human sensibilities that disavow genocide or any other OBVIOUS monumental evil. Perceptions and times may change, but certain truths cannot be denied. Mass murder = bad. Voldemort = evil. Hard to get beyond those truths. Many top ranking Nazi officials claimed absolute ignorance at the extermination practices of Hitler. I don't think any of Voldemort's followers have plausible deniability. They KNOW they are evil.

And then you get REALLY old and marry Anna Nicole Smith! A better cliche would be 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Right?

Boy, this thread got deep!!! I think she loves him, she wants his babies, she wants to kiss him etc.....
No seriously, I think she has a really deep respect for LV. A lot of the DE's like some of his ideas and some of them only follow him because of fear. But with Bellatrix, I think she is the closest thing to a female equivelent. She follows him religiously because she believes what he is doing is 100% right.

you might have a point there!
she is very uptight about him but remember that he is a very scary dude and she is probably just sticking up for him so that he won't kill her in the insident with snape. he wasn't very happy about the prophecy getting smashed, she was probably crying with fear that he was going to kill her.

keep researching, though, you may be right!
