We need to unite as Potter fans!!

Now if you are a true Potter fanatic as I am, you, like I, am very upset with Warner Brothers right now for pushing beck the release of Half-Blood Prince. Lets unite as a fandom and do what we can to get the movie moved closer. (If not November than closer than July). We cna not just roll over and let them do this to us! If we let them now whos to say they want do it again with Deathly Hallows? If you would sign this petition (which already has almost 40,000 signitures I would be forever grateful...

I agree that we should take a stand against them pushing back the release date, BUT some sources have said this week that the movie is still releasing in November like planned. Entertainment Weekly said that it was still coming out in November but other sourcres have said next July so i think that we need to wait to make sure the release date is not July 2009 before taking a stand.

The new release date (July 2009) is on the WB website...how much more authentic can you get? Alan Horn has even released a statement basically stating that he doesn't care what we fans want, he's going to capitalize on Harry Potter in every way possible...so...

Oh, and about the article that says it's still going to be released in November - that's only for select IMAX theaters. I think we should boycott those, unless they release it in ALL theaters in November.

Okay this is soo not cool that they are releasing the Half Blood Prince movie in July 09 now!!!! I have been waiting to see the movie since I finished the book and that was in April\May. And I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who has been waiting this long!

Last week i read an official staement from wb saying the reason they are doing that is because of the gaps regarding the 2 parts of DH. So after july it will be 18 months until part 1 and then another 18 months for part 2, they were just trying to help seal the time leaks.

No, that's just a side effect of the push-back. That's not the reason they did it.
