People Making Fun Of Harry Potter

I think the next time someone tells you it's evil or whatever ask them if they have even read any of the books or watched any of the movies if they say no then ask what there basses of oppion is If they say well so and so says then ask if he said he was god would you beleive that also without question tell them judge it for yourself not from what you have heard and for anybody dealing with there parents say I cant eat vegtables because somepeople say that they taste bad and I beleived them without trying it for myself

I competely agree! There's this kid at my school that's a MAJOR Christian, and everyday he calls me Satan and a witch, then he holds up the bible and yells, "THIS WILL PROTECT ME SATAN, FROM YOU AND YOUR EVIL BOOKS! (Harry Potter)" One time I got so annoyed I picked up the fourth Harry Potter book and yelled, "YEAH, I AM SATAN, AND THESE BOOKS WILL BE THE END OF YOUR GOD AND YOU! SO BE AFRAID!!!!!" I know, it didn't really help, but his expression was funny! And as for people making fun of Harry Potter, I admit that I've laughed at a,ot of skits, but I still love the HP books!

How can anyone be so "closed-mind" about it? I was astonished when I read your post GWR !!!
Just because you enjoy a book that's all fiction you are a witch? people should calm down a little and take it easy. IT IS JUST A BOOK !!! (wonderfull book, but just a book) IT IS ALL FICTION !!!
And I wonder how that boy's life must be, and his parents... poor boy, he will never read a good book in his life !!! and, by the way, what kind of music does he like? catholic?

LoL, that is bad.
Where i used to live in New Mexico, a church had a "Harry Potter burning" a few years ago. They were burning the books and everything to do with Harry Potter (plus some other things that they considered 'satanic' like Pearl Jam cds). It was just sickening to see them burning books like that. They were on one side of the road while a bunch of us HP lovers were on the other side protesting. It was crazy. . .

I quit being a Christian partly because of the Harry Potter books and became a Wiccan instead. The other reason is that I believe the bible is mostly just legends, or maybe just completely made up. I hate hearing about people going on about others being punished for not believing in the bible, and then they say that God forgives everyone. It's just stupid, it contradicts itself over and over again. Forgive me any Christians. You know the God you believe in would want you to.

Now that's just being stupid. Those people are obviously not right in the head. Talk about being obsessed. Did they think about the damage they were doing to nature aswell? All those trees that were sacrificed for the sake of reading and fire causes global warming... Like I said before, contradictions. Absolute madness...

It is complete hypocritical madness. And I can't believe that burning. They did that here too on Halloween. It was creepy

And to tell you the truth, I think he listens to fruity music, I don't know exactly what it is though. And yeah, today he shoved the bible in my face. I have the mark to prove it, lol!

I would do something about him. . .I'm not a snitch, so I'd probably do something like egg his house/car. I did that once to someone. . .it was a lot of fun, and this person was really evil and definitely deserved it!

People like that are closed-minded and will never have a fulfilling life, so I pity them. . .

Yeah, I do pity him at times because everyone picks on him and stuff, but when he starts hitting me with the bible, all pity is gone.
