It finally came out in the land of Oz yesterday and I went and saw it.
Well, Psyduck I think you're right:

It was too tight.
It's not just that they cut out too much of the good stuff.
They shaved seconds here and there, so you didn't have time
to enjoy and digest before moving on to the next scene.
If you didn't already know what they were talking about,
you wouldn't know what they were talking about.

It made me cry though when Cedric died. When Voldemort was making fun of Cedric it just about killed me!
The maze was scary, escpecially when it closed up suddenly when everything was silent. When Harry's parents came out of the wand it was sad as.
When his mum was saying, "Just let go Harry, you're ready. let go, darling..." Sadness!
And when Harry got back to Hogwarts with Cedrics body, I was bawling. How he wouldn't let go and everybody started screaming and crying.
I thought it was horrible how Pettigrew cut Harrys arm...and just kept on cutting. He was really vicious.
I liked Barty Crouch Jnr in it. Very sinister.
Madame Maxime was ridiculous, Moody looked different to how I imagined him, they cut out most of the World cup, dragged out the dragon scene, made Dumbledore cold and harsh, Fusge didn't have a lime green bowler and they completly missed the Dursleys out!
On the other hand...
That bath scene with Harry!!! I tell you, Moaning Myrtle may be dead, but she is mighty lucky!
And Cedric isn't-wasn't (sniff sniff) to hard to look at. In fact he was downright gorgeous!

I really enjoyed the movie, and I think they did the best they could to make it for the lenght of the book...I mean there's toooo much stuff in thet book, maybe enough to make 2 movies out of it. I think everything was good, until the end, when people learned that Moody was Barty Crouch. After that, I think the two or thre final scenes were kinda slow, but in general, I think it was ok. But of course I think the books ARE WAAAAYYYYYY much better.

i totally did NOT enjoy the movie at all. i was really disappointed cause i was soooo lookin forward to it aswell. plus i got a bad seat. i agree with sirius' entry on 2nd dec. the director was really bad and it just didnt feel like i was watchin harry potter at all. all the scenes just flowed together and i kept gettin mixed up with all the people. i thought karkaroff was sirius black 5 times! anyway needless to say i will not be buying the dvd. i hope they dont use the same director for the next movie. it will be completely ruined!!!!!

In the book, Hermione was supposed to have figured out how Rita got all of the false stories about Harry. Hermione was supposed to show Ron and Harry a beetle that she caught that was Rita Skeeter, but that never happened.

did u notice, in movie, neville gave harry d gillyweed. but actually it was dobby who gave it to harry.
overall, the special effects were nice and movie was good. but i was expecting more

Movies hardly ever live up to the books.
