More Movie Mistakes!

MovieMistakes.com also found tons of mistakes for the second Harry Potter movie. Can you believe that?

Below are three mistakes they found:

1. Dumbledore asks, "Why then did the Sorting Hat place you in Gryffindor?" and in this close-up the Sorting Hat sits on two books. In the next shot, as Harry answers, "Because I asked it to." The hat now sits on three books in this close-up. During this entire scene in Dumbledore's office, things including the Sorting Hat and lamp behind Dumbledore to his right, change position depending on camera angle.

2. Moaning Myrtle flooded the bathroom when Ron and Harry discovered the diary, but she is a ghost and shouldn't have been able to turn on the taps.

3. In Dumbledore's office, when Harry is handed Godric Gryffindor's sword, in the close-up the name written down the length of the sword is clean, with blood stains only below the name. Yet in the previous and following shots, the blood stains are much closer to the hilt of the sword where the name is.

4. In the Quidditch match that involves the tampered bludger, just before he grabs the snitch the bludger hits his arm shattering the bone and making the arm guard fly off. For some reason the arm guard flew in the opposite direction from which the bludger flew, which should be impossible. The bludger came toward the screen, but the guard knocked away from the screen.

I never really thought about the Moaning Mrytle one until just now.

gosh i am so dumb i hadn't noticed any mistakes until the 3rd movie in the first and second movie i noticed no mistakes how so

i didnt either... except for the trding seats in the great hall.

i guess they were not that easy to spot then this new director i hope he dosen't spoil the 4th movie or deleate any schenes because this is the exciting book

I think they have a different director.

i say hopefully they have a different director because that will be our only hope i did not like the direction of the third movie

The guard on his arm is fine, I can see how that could really happen, but it's hard to explain.
Moaning Myrtle in the books I think could some how make contact with material things... but don't quote me on that, 'cause I'm not sure.

If Moaning Myrtle could dive into the toilets sending water up over the bowl, then we could assume that her spirit was dense enough to replace water. So if she kept diving into the toilet bowls and the toilet bowls kept filling up again, Myrtle could presumably flood the bathroom without turning on a tap.

Hm. Maybe that's how she flooded the bathroom.
