I would have to say Hufflepuff......Harry was probably the most "loyal" person ever. Loyal to his friends, to Dumbledore, to his school, and his quidditch team. And he was hard working. Think how hard he had it all those months traveling around and trying to avoid Voldemort at the same time. And at the same time he was no pushover. Helga would have been proud.

slytherin indeed...because the sorting hat told him that he would do great in slytherin. so that leads me to believe that he would go to slytherin if he had not picked gryffindor.
And as previously posted Voldemorts influence would have been great

He'd go to slytherin less becouse of Voldemort's influence, but becouse, as Dumbledore said, he was ambitios and often didn't care about the rules..
and it's weird that someone that's parseltongue even got a chanse to choose.. the other two are difficult, but i think that revenclaw suits him better 'cos
academic achevments do not show how brainy you are, but rather how much hard work you're ready to put in.
And really, Harry is much more smart than hard working.

well the sorting hat did say slytherin, harry obiously has the potential to be in that house. hes definiatly not in hufflepuff and ravenclaw seems a bit too much so it makes sense that he would be in slytherin.

It makes no sense to me that Harry would go to Slytherin. Harry wanted to go anywhere BUT Slytherin.

Heds, come on. Did you at least READ my post explaining why Ravenclaw and to a lesser extent Hufflepuff wouldn't suit the sheer power and involvement of Harry?

no where but slytherin would fit harry except slytherin. he wasnt really smart so there goes ravenclaw. and he wasnt really..well we will just say that huffulpuff didnt suit him either.

So you're saying that, basically, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws are meeker than Slytherin and Gryffindor?
Bolt- Harry HATED the idea of going to Slytherin.
Am I the only person starting to get bugged by Slytherin arrogance?
