I think that Harry exhibits all the qualities that a hero should, they come naturally to him, and are expected of him. Ron and Hermione all also heroes in their own right b/c they arise to the occasion w/o the expectation being placed on them.

I dont think even Harry wants to do it alone, but its either that or risking his best frieds lives, thats why Hermione and Ron never FACE Voldemort they only help find him a bit.

anyone can be a hero in their own way. harry is a hero because he is brave. herms is a hero becase she is trustworthy and kind and honest so is ron they are both loyal to harry. neville...he....he does not appear a hero but it isn't easy being picked on or everyone thinking your stupid and a whimp. and neville is kind and loyal and maybe not the brightest a potions but certainly smart on the subject of freindship.

Even though Harry wouldn't have been able to make it to where he is now without help, he's the real hero... because, well, he's the only one capable of killing Voldemort, right? *goes and tries to kill voldemort* Yup, he is...

um.......welll why does every one asoom(SSSPPP) that harry is the only one who can voldy i meanis that mintioned the the prophecy(sp) ....????????

Neither can live while the other survives, that's what the prophecy says. Anyway, the thing about Harry being the only one who can kill Voldemort was Dumbledore's conclusion and I happen to believe in everything that Dumbledore says! (Except, perhaps, the thing about Snape being a good guy... I'm not so sure about that anymore)

Harry is the hero but as your all saying he can't do it alone so their all heros.
I'd like to see Draco turn from he dark side and help destroy voldemort, it would be unexpected but it would bring the two houses together.
