you guys read lord of the rings WOW i heard the book is different from the movie is that true?well i relly like the movies and heard the books are good so i think i will read them.anyway thanks timewalker like the welcome

Peter Jackson, the director of LotR movies, did an amazing job. I don't know anyone who's read and, therefore, loves the books who doesn't also love the movies. Which is really saying something. The movies do the books justice. I can't think of any scene that isn't done well. Maybe Froddo and Sam's trek across the waste land before they get to the Mt. of Doom and I don't think Eowin(sp?) and Faramir were in it enough but then again I'm a huge John Wenham fan so I am being a bit picky.

If you get a chance, hunt down the Aus. film 'Getting Square'. It's brillant!! It's got John Wenham and also has the actor that plays Scabber/ Petigrew in it I'm pretty sure AND it has the gorgeous SamWorthington who I do believe is the most wonderful man in the world.Rating:****.

I'll hunt down mc Summers. I don;'t know them but your praise is enough for me timewalker.

buffybuff: they are really good sic-fiction almost mistry though i read every last on but one thing you are going to want to read the novels i think the first one is....inhuman fury but i can be wrong

buffy... truly a woman after my one heart!!!!!

my favirett chapter in lotr is "the stuwerd and the king"
were Eaown and Faramir first meet... and then in the garden...
oh my GOD! a good rich romance written by a MAN!

i heat the fact that you see the romance of Aragon and Arwen in sted of the romance of Faramir and Eaown. in the books arwen onley was on two pages... a foot note!!!! weras Eaown was a crushel role in king... i wish thay could have equled it out a bit!

but HA this is AFTER ALL a Harry Potters chat... not LOTRs!!!!!

yea that is sooooooooo true i guess we lost track dis is harry potter chat. anyway to back track a little i love argorn and arwen together they look sooo good and i have to read the book did you hear that a new one is comming out bilbos adventures the book THE HOBBIT. but as you have kndly said dis is harry potter site and i can't wait for the book to come out and my mom is getting angry with me cause that is the only thing i talk about :rolleyes:
