Animagus Me

Well I'd be a hippogriff. It's just the coolest of all the animals described in the books so far. I just don't know if you could choose to be a magical creature though.

Firts i don't think that you pick what anmial you become. If i am not mistaken you are kind of set in what you become.But that said if you could choose i would probley be a Turtle a big one. I have always liked them. I have had dozens as pets as well they are neet. and pryer to popular beliefe they are not that slow.

I wasn't aware of that fact about the animagus. Must be in the books somewhere, but I've forgotten. Explains why Peter was a rat. I never expected anyone to choose a turtle though, just like I'd never have expected someone to be a rat.

Everyone to they're own I guess.

ps: they really can't be very fast.

Right they are not cheta fast but the big ones can travle up words of 15mph at a full sprint

That's cool about turtles. I've like them also because my sign is the crab. Y'know - soft inside with a hard exterior. I wonder if anyone has a sea creature as an animagus. Octopus might be cool. If it was a mythical creature, then why not go for the big one - a dragon. I think peter liked the rat because it was small and unobtrusive and good at escape. Flight is a good thing for an animagus. I would want to be an owl except I like the idea of having a tail too much. Fenrir, however bound, must stay with the wolf.

I think to be a rat like peter, must be depressing. They have a bad reputation(transfer diseases). If I were an animagus it must be an animal that lives in our degrees of latitude. And best not a wild animal like a bear or something. So you can flee in every situation. e.g. a deatheater fight in the middle of london

Something that does not attract too much attention would be good if there are death eaters fighting around .
I think I'd like to be a chameleon . Small , can flee easily , and chage color whenever you like just like Tonks .

Wouldn't they kill each animal which is in their proximity?

On the other hand who take cares about a chameleon in a deatheater fight??

I thimk that i would stick w a turtle i could enchant my schell to repell spells that would be cool
