Then you should teach

You go over something 10 times. Give explicit instructions. Say it, write it. Give it in paragraph form and outlined. Only to have some sweet, precious child look up at you, bat their eyes, and say, "huh?"

Then they leave the room and say, "boy, I don't know what in the world is wrong with Mrs. McD today, but she sure is in one bad mood!"

Hermione's pretty Griffinclaw. I've never heard of Slytherpuff, sounds rather contradictory to me. Actually, you can have all the combinations except that one. Slytherdor, Slytherclaw, Ravenpuff, Gryffinpuff.... but not Slytherpuff, I can't think of anyone who fits that description.
To me:
Griffinclaw: Hermione,
Slytherdor: Fred, George, Sirius, Ginny
Slytherclaw: Think Susan Bones a bit more cunning. Amelia Bones, possibly.
Ravenpuff: Cedric.
Gryffinpuff: Neville.
