Harry's 3 years old when James died ? I thought he's only about one ...

And he's 27 now , and WILL be 36 in the future , which means the whole story ends in about 2016 , doesn't it ? So basically , your epilogue counting is right , I think ....

About one year.

Maybe writer were counting starting not from 2007 year...

so he is 30 years old(31 now),and the last book was writen in 2001
