Why didn't Hermione age at least a year faster than everyone else when she was using the time turner? After all they are adolescents and a year's worth of growth would have been noticable.

She was re-living almost every class hour twice and all that was said is that she looked very worn and tired, like Lupin. (Is that right? Lupin?)

I think she looked so tired just because that it what it was she was just tired, if you think about it she just kept reliving her same day over again so it shouldn't have affect her age.

Most likely, the reason she didn't age is because Rowling didn't think through the whole time-turner thing through.

JKR said that she regrets some places in the books where she wrote herself into corners, and I think the time turner is one of those places.

Why didn't Hermione age... [/b]
I think it was only about four hours a week, not counting holidays. She seemed to be doing all of her homework in real time. So that's what -- 144 hours or so for the school year? 144/24 = 6 days. That would not make a noticable difference.

Because it's just a story...Things don't have to be real in a story.

You guys... <_<

That little bit with the time-turner was nothing.
She just used it for a few classes.
She seemed to be doing all of her homework in real time,
and she obviously wasn't sneaking naps along the way.

(I certainly would. I love naps. My "time closet" has been one of my little fantasies since I was a kid -- slow down time so you can slip away and do stuff -- read, write... -- and nap time is always high on my list.)
