The Quibbler Report (completely far-fetched): I have this crazy theory about Dumbledore! Okay, first of all, it was said that Merlin was immortal and was called, the time traveler. Maybe Dumbledore IS Merlin! Dun dun dun!

Anyway, back to reality, I have a different theory involving Dumbledore's death. Maybe Dumbledore's body's gone, but his spirit lives on and is still able to help Harry! It would be like an Obie-Wan Kinobie thing, for anyone that's seen Star Wars. It would also make sense, because it goes with that phoenix figure flying out, and this way his death won't be a total waste! Do you get what I'm saying?

ive heard so many theories bout that but i think the best is that he is actualy dead bcuz of his will.. dumbledore had planned on dieng that night... he had to of told fawkes to not rescue him bcuz fawkes always came to save the day b4... either that or he told fawkes not to come bcuz he is not actualy dieng..

I like it. I want it to be so.
But I doubt that he would say things like "Merlin's beard" if he were actually Merlin.
And he had auburn hair just 50 years ago.
Crud. It would have been a good theory.

lol, I know it would have been SO cool. But actually, I thought of the auburn hair thing, and maybe Merlin dyed it, because he wanted to go into his disguise, which is another reason that he says"Merlin's Beard", not to mention, that it was said that Merlin was always seen wearing out-landish clothes. *suspiscious look* I know I'm crazy, but that's beside the point....for now....

But they all wear outlandish clothes.
Remember old Archie from the World Cup?

Poo that's true. But they even described what Merlin wore, and one of the biggest things I think is they pretty much described sneakers of some sort

Who are "THEY"?
I don't think sneakers were invented yet in the days of King Arthur.

"they" Are the people who wrote, recorded, and studied Merlin (if that makes any sense)

JK says he's about 150 anyway. How can a hundred year old have auburn hair? It doesn't make sence. But then again, this is Dumbledore we're talking about.
