What house was Voldemort in? Slytherin or Ravenclaw? I always thought he was in Slytherin, but yesterday I saw the second movie and at the end I thought I saw him wearing a Ravenclaw uniform. Aren't you supposed to be a pure blood to be in Slytherin? His father was a muggle. Wasn't he really smart and clever? Are my eyes just decieving me? ![]()

Yes he was in slytherin - You don't have to be pure blood to be in it, that is just what Salazar Slytherin wanted in it. They have stated that there are not may purebloods left too (OOTP). I often wondered how Voldemort could be raving on and on about killing mudbloods and how everyone should be pureblood when he ins't pureblood himself. Does that make anyone else wonder about him? I guess in the end he is just crazy in the killing kind of way.

Shelby, you don't have to be in Slytherin to be a baddy. Look at Pettigrew, I cannot imagine him being in Slytherin becuase he was friends with the marauders. And it's mathematical as well. You've got to figure that Slytherin can only produce so many witches and wizards and when you consider the fact that not all of them turned out to be terribly evil, I.E. professor Slughorn, and you figure that Voldemort's Death Eater forces are considerably numerous you've got to figure that he got some of his wizarding warriors from other houses. And Yes, to answer your question, Voldemort was beyond the shadow of any doubt in slytherin.
