i'mnot sure ... hopefully .... but how can JK rowling make the book long if its just about Harry finding and destoying the hurcroxs? i mean Harry and dumbledore finding the fake one only took up a few chapters .....

I don't think JK will be really focused on Hogwarts (if it did remain open), don't forget Hermione and Ron would be following Harry in his Horcrux quest...

i reckon hogawrts will remain open but because harry needs to find the horcruxes it wont focus on howarts completely, maybe he will go to hogwarts for a while or end up in hogwarts at the end for a final showdown with voldemort.

Hogwarts will remain open just under a new headmaster its been open for so long I doubt she will close it. If anything Ron and Hermionie will still be attending even if Harry doesn't. I can't see the 2 of them not going especially Hermionie. I do agree with everyone else I don't think it will be a focus on it as much in the last book.

For what it says at the end of book six, Ron and Hermione will help hHarry to find the Horcruxes... anyway, I wouldn't like to see them remaining at Hogwarts and abbandoning his friend, right?

well jk rowling did say that the 7th book will be the seventh year at hogwarts and that shes gonna make a secret 8th book ?

You know... there really should be an 8th book...no only are there several horcruxes left... but wt about wt happens to Harry after the fact...does he finish his schooling and go on to become an Auror...or something else...
