When Did You Start?

When did you first start getting interested in HP? I first started getting interested in HP when the movie came out. Before the movie came out I really didn't know what the whole HP deal was about and I thought it was stupid, untill I saw a HP trailor for the film. So I watched the first movie and I loved it, because I thought magic was cool. After I saw the movie I checked out the second book from my school library, but I only read half of it. After that my mom bought me the third book and it took me three weeks to read it (I was a slow reader). Then the second movie came out and I saw it. I then bought the fourth book and read it. After that I got the second book and tried to read it where I left off, but I couldn't remember where I left off so I read it from the begining again and I finished it. Then I finally read the first book. Soon after that, the fifth book came out and I read it. Then the third movie came out and I liked it. And then the sixth book came out and it was my favorite out of the whole series. After I read the sixth book I decided to read the whole series again in order. I've already finished the first book and am now reading the second. Now I'm just waiting for the fourth movie to come out.

This is deffinitly the longest post I've ever written.

Hey me too!!!! I watched Sorcerer's Stone first thenChamber of Secrets then I read the two books.I couldn't find Prisoner but was able to read Goblet so Sirius being innocent was'nt such a big revelation to me when I finally read PoA.I had to wait for a year after Order was released coz I did not have the foresight to pre-order Phoenix so when JKR said HBP was soon to be released I made a reservation and my heart hasn't healed with that character dying.

For me, it all started in third grade. My teacher would read defferent books to us and at the end of the school year, after much begging and pleading from those that already liked HP in my class, she read the first book to us. she barely finished in time because the last day of school was coming. on the last day of school we voted on what to do and what we did was have a party in the morning and we spent the rest of the day finishing the first book of Harry Potter. and after that i was hooked.

uhh... 7th grade. it was one of the books we had to read for class and after the first few chapters i was a FAN. i'm about to go to college this year and still a fan.

I started reading Harry Potter in like 4th grade with my class and didn't really pay attention, but then my cousin gave me the 1st and 2nd one for my birthday and I was hooked after reading them.
I never did pay attention when the teacher read it or else I would have been hooked then, lol.

I have been a fanatic ever since then!

i got started 11 years ago when i thought this book sounded soooooooo stupid but then my mom got me the first book for christmas and i LOVED IT after that the rest is history. Me and Harry have been friends for a looong ass time!

I actually can't remember, but I'm pretty sure it went like this:
Saw Movie#1 in Kinder.
Saw Movie#2 in 1st grade.
Read SS in 2nd grade.
And after that I really can't remember. Although I'm pretty sure I read at least CoS and PoA in 2nd grade. Maybe GoF. Cause' I know I read books #5&6 when they came out...
