| The kids at school were talking about the books and they kept saying, Mrs. G. Mrs. G have you read them. Barnes and Noble had the first 4 in a paperback pack, so I bought them that way. I had a hard time reading the first one. The second one was easier. I was hooked on the third one. The fifth one was out by the time I'd finished the first four. I've reread the series each time a new one has come out since then. |

| I actually watched the first movie on HBO w/ my daughter one night because it was the only thing on that I was willing to watch with her. When it was over, I thought, "Hmm, that was a pretty good movie." Ironically, Chamber came on HBO the next week so we watched it, caught it again a few days later. I thought, "Hmm, that was a pretty good movie too." Of course I'd heard of and seen HP stuff in stores, but was never "into it." I mentioned to my aunt, who was already HP obsessed, that we'd seen the movies and asked her to clarify a few things from CoS for me. She said, "I'll lend you the book if you want to read it." So I agreed, read it and that was all it took. I was hooked. |
