So RAB must stand for Regulus Black!!!!!!!
Thats why he backed out from being a death eater! because he knew Voldemort had horcruxes! Thats why Voldemort killed him!

The locket has been discussed on other threads.
Most likely, Regulus Black took the locket with the help of Kreacher.

On page 116 of OOP, they put the locket in a bag with the rest of the
garbage and it doesn't say where the bag went. Most likely, Kreacher
snuck the locket out and still has it.

I wonder if there is a way to find out what his middle name is? I think that is very possible, because we know she loves to drop hints in her books that lead to future references. That is a very good catch on your part.

I am sure that sirius parents were pure blood cuz in OotP in the chapter : the most noble house of black or smt sirius mother is in the portrait when she starts talking (screaming) about pure bloods being the best calling hermione filthy little mudblood, so im very sure she wouldnt marry a mudblood. Im gonna look into the family tree of the Blacks in Ootp.Ill get back on the matter quickly.
