The story, The date -
Blind date, of course. I told her I gave historic tours and was an area storyteller. She comes into the restaurant flustered and complaining about how much she hates my city. We had already discovered our differences of opinion on a number of topics. (I love Micheal Jackson, while she loves cursing and smoking cigarettes)
She then went into a long monologue about how her last five relationships - and subsequently all men - are pigs. That would've been a great thing to tell me about in the earlier conversations. "SWF who thinks all men are pigs." I couldn't wait to get out of there.
The bus brokedown on my return trip home. The standby bus missed us because of the twilight sun. The busdriver waited for an addled man who had forgotten his bag and I got home around ten. The bus ride was altogether preferable to the date. I had the lemon chicken and am now suffering from food poisoning. I'm not going on another date anytime soon.
Or - my birthday is coming up! Maybe its all psychosymatic and the only one I could ever imagine going out with is the Aussie teacher/mother I met on the Harry Potter chat. Food poisoning helps reduse existing stretch marks. With all this weight loss Buffy, I'm slim and handsome enough for you to consider something to aleviate that 30+ delimma you spoke of so eloquently.
This is my only post for the day. I now return to my sickbed until the birthday is over.

fenrirbound: You poor lovey!!

I was a bit mifted that you hadn't posted for ages. If I'd known you were having such an awful time away from us all, I would have been much happier.

Food poisoning hey?! Yucko!! Shoulda stuck with the mamoth. Food poisoning gets rid of stretch marks hey??? Lemon chicken over here please!!

Ta for your flattery (I am of course assuming that I am the 'Ausssie mother/teacher' you mentioned- Ohhh the arrogance of me! Unless you're also a member of AussieMother/Teacher.com, a little known and rather exclusive chatroom, inwhich case you could be referring to thousands of us.) Go on then... allieviate away!

I like b'days. I have had a lot of practice at them. I really like the idea that I'm the special one for a whole day. Though I read that every person shares their b'day with at least 9 million others in the world- I choose not to think about that.

Also did you know that:
It is a physical impossibility for pigs to look at the sky.
More people are killed annually by donkeys than die in air crashes.
When you sneeze, your heart stops for a millisecond.
The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching t.v.
35% of people who use personal ads for dating are already married.
Boanthropy is a disease in which a person thinks they're an ox.
In the course of an average lifetime you will, while sleeping, eat 70 assorted insects and 10 spiders.
By law, every child in Belgium must take harmonica lessons at primary school.
The shortest war in history was between Zanzibar and England in 1896. Zanzibar surrendered after 38 minutes.
???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FENRIRBOUND- ENJOY!

I missed this one, sorry. You are absolutely right. I wouldn't go anywhere without clearing it with my big bro first. You are also correct when you said that I was off writing another epic posting. What's wrong with me mate?? I just can't shut up! Is it arrogance or just ineffeciency? Maybe I'm lonely.... that's way too pathetic to say out loud. Anyway, it's impossible to be lonely on this site. I'll sign off before this becomes another of those accursed longen's

posted the 10th of July and Lo I have returned these two days. Where oh where is my Buffy? I come into my home between bombings in Londen and a Hurricane in my gulf and I sit to try to fix this sight from all the 'yep' responses and I can't find my aussie mother/teacher. She's not even on the aussie mother/teacher chat site and I can't live much longer without her. Come back to this five and dime, BuffyBuff. We miss you. I miss you.

fenrirbound: Ooooo!! You sweet lovely thing you!! I came on when you were on. I got so excited to have you on at the same time that I jumped up, ran around the room, put on my slippers('cause it's cold here!) ran around the block ... twice!!, banged on my neighbours' doors and phoned everyone I know, to share the happy news of your return. I wrote a 10 000 word piece on the rapturous delight of being on line with you, sent emails to everyone (including old lectureers from uni. and my crancky old 3 grade teacher, who was also my softball coach) and, when I got back... you'd gone! ...

Bin Laden and Dennis can get you down. Bloody men!! They are hard to live with I'll give you that!!! As I always say : "can't live with em', can't believe the bloody mess they leave!"

Poor old Miam, poor old London and poor old Baghdad!!!!!!

And here I thought it was something I said! My memory not being what it once was, I am almost positive I didn't ask for any personal information or money. But, I could be wrong and if that's the case... where is that 50 bucks you said you'd let me hold? It would've been 20 but rate of exchange and all. I did get excited after finding myself on the same site as you. Luckily, I had my heart pills right here.

I will say happy birthday to you for at least the next two days

There are three kinds of people in this world - Those who can count and those who can't.

You count, fenrirbound

This 'post time' shinanigans is a worry. I'm working on about 18 hours ahead of the post time. Are you behind it? That doesn't make sense? You'd have to live in the Atlantic to be behind West coast time wouldn't you??

Ta for b'day happy thoughts. Yep it is today, right now, this one that I'm living in this very moment!!! This one's all mine!! (and 9 million others) I LOVE b'days!! I get stuff

Opps. Does the above constitute personal info? Guess so. Sorry.

Sorry mate, I don't lend money. On principle, I only borrow it. (Wow I've got a principle!! Just what I always wanted! I love b'days)

Lend money? Is that what you promised me? Here I thought it was about giving me my props! Ha! Glad you had a good b-day and glad to be back after a few days off. Hectic, my life. Would that I were an Austrailian, living the life of ease like that Paul Hogan character or the lead singer of INXS. (too soon?) Anyhow, I have MISSED YOU. Come back soon. I have tried to fix all of the pages in these hours I have set aside for posting. give me some feedback. I may have been a bit harsh?

You should move to the land of Oz. we don't take work that seriously here (or maybe your pinko brother should hee hee). Lots of lazying about to be done by all. We figure, God couldn't have made a country so perfect for lazying about in, without some 'lazying about' lifestyle in mind.

see you after HBP - give me a few days. I pick it up in 7 hours!!! I'll try to resist temptation and not post until I've finished.... don't know how I'll go with this resolution. I'm a bit of a sucker for wanting to tell people my every thought and experience, since joining this site.
