Yes it is in the Harry Potter book it is in the second one you know with Tom Riddel during valentines day. Remember Ginny Weasley gave it to a trol or what ever it was and Harry Potter refused to lissen to it so it sat on top of Harry Potter and sand it out loud
Very funny and embaressing on both Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley.

The version I was referring to is the UK edition (clearly that means I'm from the UK). Don't know whether it's in any of the other editions, although I can't exactly understand why they'd take it out. Also, it serves a pretty important purpose, because, as Harry tries to escape the dwarf who gives him the Valentine, his bag gets ripped and Tom Riddle's diary falls out, thereby alerting Ginny to the fact that Harry has got it. Therefore, if it isn't in the Dutch edition, how does Ginny find out Harry's got the diary?

By the way, I think the chapter in question is called The Very Secret Diary. Can't remember the chapter number and I'm too lazy to go and look it up.

It's in the Australian version too.

I wanna know why the versions are different too. Did you know that the American HARDBACK edition of OotP has 150 odd pages more than the Aus HARDBACK edition?? (I've already done the 'American's need bigger print' joke so I won't repeat it here)

Yes, ha ha! We need bigger writing... or more explanation... or giant swaths of napkins to wipe our drooling chins and they've just been added as extra pages. Very funny.
