Or would you damn the consequences in your fury for revenge? Esepcially in this case, since Snape's loyalty has always been ambiguous. No. I don't think he'd be ready for everything from the beginning. But I would tell him more. I mean, especially if he had to walk to his death. No, I would not tell him of that until the last moment, until the height of battle is upon him and all other things fade away in the knowledge that This Is The End. Since the prophecy was moot I'd tell him about it earlier, or at least warn him, though I'd also instill a strong sense of disbelief to the weight of the prophecy. What would you do if you had been Headmaster Dippet when Tom Riddle asked to remain at Hogwarts instead of returning to the orphanage over the summer?  |
