Default O.W.L. Results.....
In book third, i.e. in PoA, at the end of the term , we knw that Fred and George scraped a few OWL each. But, then in HBP, we come to knw that OWL results are declared during the vacation. Harry and others got their OWL during the holidays. So, how come Fred and George got their OWLs while they were still at school???

I don't remember that part.
Maybe they just assumed?
When you take a test, you usually have
a general idea of how well you did.

they didn't assume Psy, u can read PoA Page number 313, second last paragraph

But they said in some book that they should get "BEtter than expected", just for showing up! :P
