maybe it's Ron diving in to save Harry.

(I like the patronus doe in JK Rowling)

Eeeeeeewwwww.
That was my first thought.
Eeeeechhhhhh.
That was my second thought.
My next twenty or so were similar.
Then I closed it.
And had to open it again to see what was falling.
It's undoubtedly one of the trio.
Didn't they jump?
Must go back to the chapter and see.

Yecccchh.

I see what you mean - wow...
the voldemort/harry showdown though - is a good concept to have as cover art.

my version (Australia) shows ron, Hermione & Harry in the Gringotts vault with the gold that multiplies upon touch.... how is that really crucial to the plot I ask you??? egh...

I'd rather see a forest covered in snow with a doe patronus.... I think that would have been perfect really

Well , anyway , I love the US cover the most .

Here in Taiwan both US one and UK one are available . The UK one is cheaper by about 300 NT dollars . I still chose to buy the US one .
Mary GrandPre's works are excellent !

its just this i never understood why the cover art is soo ugly always. really, all the countries - exept uk adult version and netherlands previous ones - have this ugly harry, or something tat just makes u think: i dont want to be seen with that. with the books being so popular u would think they would come with a better one..but no, its just like the films, rubbish.

The dragon on the Dutch cover is extremely odd, but I love the silver doe.

Eurgh, DH cover art in general pretty horrendus. Really makes the US version look good, which I hadn't though was possible.

At least you know whats happening on those covers. "What on earth is he doing?" Is what I asked myself when I saw the US one.
