what we think about Snape? well i think he is one betrayer

I agree I think snape has every person fooled Voldamort and the Order.

In book six, just as Dumbledore is zapped, he pleads with Snape: "Severus, please." Does anyone think that what Dumbledore is really asking is for Snape to sever the two of them, splitting one from the other so that Dumbledore has an additional life as does Voldemort have additional lives? I think "Severus" means "sever us." Thoughts?

Very weird thought. Way out there in the realm of hardly possible.

I find the Snape situation very intracate. It's very hard to know whether or not if he really was for the Order. In none of the books it never said anything that Snape did that was helpful to them. But he could have everybody fooled even though I find it quite clear that he did kill Dumbledore.

Read between the lines. You'll get your answer. Snape saved Harry's life on more than one occasion. You can't bluff your way onto Dumbledore's good side. He's a very good judge of character. Remember how he still trusted Hagrid even though he had been hiding Aragog in the School. Trusted him enough to keep him on the school grounds. Dumbledore didn't make a mistake with Snape.

What would Snape gain for being a Death Eater? What would Snape gain if he is still a member of the Order? these are the questions that I weigh. I do believe that he is a great man.

Dumbledore LIVES!

Snape won't die, you could do an entire series just on his character alone. Snape can't die.

I don't believe he is evil, but if he's evil, someone in the order will probably kill him.
But since he's good , if he dies it will be in a way where he is doing something for Harry.
