It would, but they are not very good wizards. I would hate to see Fred and Georges joke shop go down, and for poor Ron and Ginny to die.

Your probably right. maybe come the time of the big duel between Harry and Voldemort, They'll be able to switch Voldemort's wand with one of their own, so when he points it at Harry, it'll turn into a rubber chicken! That'd rock!

she was in Azkaban but if you keep reading, you'll find out near the almost end that her and the other death eaters broke out of azkaban and the ministry of magig puts it in the daily prophet and they think sirius helped them break out even though he didn't. the ministry of magic still think sirius is a mass murderer that needs to be put back in azkaban.

i dont a time turner could chage who you are .. and i dont think that harrys parents could be saved because then tere wouldnt be harry to defet voldy so many things can go so bad

Suprime Witch: IF the Time Turner could have been used to save Harry's parents, then maybe Harry's life would have been better. Of course, Voldemort would continue looking for Harry because he is mentioned in the prophecy. So maybe Harry and his parents would have lived like fugitives--Always running; always trying to hide. At least Harry would have been able to share the burden of Voldemort and the prophecy with his parents instead of going it alone.

I'm with you surprime witch,we are told that time turning is extremly dangerous. I reckon that if Dumbledore allowed time and other natural events to be changed, he'd be no better than Voldemort. In his youth (his 1st century)Dumbledore obviously didn't get this and thus he help to create the Philosopher's Stone. I think he's now seen the errors of his ways and doesn't believe that anyone should be able to defy death. It's unnatural and it's exactly what Voldemort's done.

Which brings us to the v. interesting point someone made earlier: Why don't the Death eaters know about and use the time turner? Voldemorts done so much to make himself immortal, you'd think that a time turner would be a huge gun in his arsenal and would gurantee his immortality....?? You'd think that if they were gonna break into the Ministry for the Prophecy, they'd have done better to steal a time turner, go back and hear all the prophecy themselves.

Which brings me to another question: Who do you reckon was the eavesdropper?
